On tap at Falling Rock. Pours with a mostly clear golden body and no head. Some signs of carbonation. Aromas are fruity, juicy, alcohol and a waxy honey character. Flavors are estery, apple, grassy, vanilla, light apricot and some waxy notes. Extremely thin with a few stray bubbles. Not great. Some noticeable alcohol for what I assume is a pretty low ABV mead.

Bottle. Pours with a fading head surprisingly (clean glass) and a lot of pressure was released when the bottle was opened. Extremely pale, clear body. Minimal legs. Buttery honey wax comb aroma, some light cinnabun notes. Sticky fruit. Not getting much apricot. Wow, a carbonated mead (haven’t had a commercial example of such yet, outside of braggots). Some autolysis. Very dry, and light. Light fruity notes. Medium to high effervescence. Odd mead.

Had this at the 2011 mid summer morning mead tasting at Vintage, nice place, y’know? Slight plastic aroma. Almost clear as water. Very easy and watery, just lovely and easy. Almost comes across like flat sweet cider. No hint of apricot or co2. This was fromthe bottom of the bottle and even tho the label says carbonated, I see why it is not. Very mild mellow mead drinken experience. Pretty good.

Sampled from bottle. Poured a very light, pale yellow color. Aroma was honey, alcohol, with a solid note of apricot. Flavor is mild apricots, apple-notes, sweet, but a bit dry.

From bottle at Sunset Grill. Pours clear and pale yellow, no head. Aroma is mild fruity and sweet. Almondish, mild acidic and honey herbal. Rather dry and herbal finish.

(From dusty notes) Clear nothingness, with a bit of something in suspension pours into my sampler mug. Smells of Goya guanabana nectar & plastic. So very odd. Tastes of macerated fruit skins, lemon/lime, & more plastic. Toasty malt finish. Touch of carbonation. Pulpy/nectar consistency. Not a drain pour. Just a very strange attempt at a fruit mead.

Pale gold. Honey and floral aroma, clover I think. Sweet but not too sweet flavour, rather full. Floral finish.

Very light color, just a pale yellow on the water. The aroma has both some honey and soap. It has some light carbonation, that makes it at the same time more drinkable and original among Meads; it’s medium dry, with flowery notes, some honey, light chamomile. Simple but not bad.

A light golden mead. Both the aroma and flavor are sweet with quite strong notes of oranges as well as honey - no wonder.

Got to love the flip-top 750 ml cobalt blue bottles. I guess that explains why Redstone can charge a bit more for these bottles. Pours a very light pale color into a small snifter. There are a few tiny bubbles sticking to the sides of the glass. Aroma is sweetness up front, a medium sweetness for mead I would say. Thats followed by an herbal aroma and a slight iso-type alcohol aspect. Taste loses a lot of the strong mead sweetness and has a subdued sweetness thats very enjoyable by a mead novice like me. After that there is some slight fruitiness. A pretty dry finish. Mouthfeel is present on the cheeks but easy on the tongue. I would say this is very quaffable without being light bodied.
