Bottle to chalice.
Appearance: dark brown close to dark purple with a finger's worth of white foamy head which trailed off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: bourbon barrel/woody tones up front, light vanilla, dark fruits, light Belgian chocolate, subtle Belgian sugars, pomme fruits, slight tart fruity character
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas into a subtle sweet to yeasty spicy to earthy character; finishes dark fruity, subtle Belgian spicy yeasty toned and kinda with some barrel/woody aspects
Texture: medium bodied, great sipper; some smoothness, that "back-of-the-throat" Belgian grab shows up fairly dry this time
Overall: there's a Belgian quad in here and it shows it's face then hides behind the barrel and presents itself again to tell you - "you better find another bottle of me!"

Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: golden yellow color with a one and a half fingers of white foamy head which trailed off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: funky, tart, grassy, earthy, floral, woody and hay scents; light Belgian-like yeastiness fist bumping with some light malts
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to funky floral and earthy to grassy vibe; finishes floral, tart, and woody to hay-like
Texture: light to medium bodied, some smoothness but also some dryness and some tart harshness
Overall: nicely done saison worthy of returning to.

Can (2/27/25) from One Stop Market. Inky, dark brown, light viscosity, nice sparkle, no head or lacing. Aroma is strong vanilla, fudge, coffee, bourbon. Taste is amped up version of aroma! Smooth, thick texture, full bodied, significant pleasant alcohol warmth, finish as taste. Vanilla/fudge aspect might be too sweet for some but there's enough bourbon to keep it in check. Don't mind the noticeable alcohol warmth.

Poured pale straw color, thin head.
Candy fruity nose, light flavors. Slight funky twist to it. Peculiar and not very something I will remember.

2$ can from vintage estates. Pour is cloudy pale with a big white bubbly head. Nose something like green pine cones. First taste is bitter fresh mild fruit. Green grapefruit rinds and snubber clubber rubber. Somewhat intense and scintillating. Not viscous like many other heavy IPA. In the middle, turning out like many other rude ass IPA; tastefully vulgar, crude, gaudy, tacky, unrefined, inappropriate, indecorous and unseemly. Just how I feel about most terribly on style IPA. Finish is not as punishing as most IPA. There, you have it.

Can. Pours an oily black with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet dark grains and some rye with touches of coconut and a bourbon backing. Flavor has sweet dark grains and coconut with growing bourbon with a hint of rye supporting.
