Sample at The Draft Room. The beer is a cloudy bright yellow color with a medium frothy white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of grassy hops, tropical fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of grassy hop, pineapple, grapefruit and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Tap at Keg, thx Branko! Brownish body, off-white head. Coffee going towards peppers, roast, carob and maltiness in the aroma. Roasty taste, heavy raost, carob, light peppery coffee and alcohol. Was I a fan? Not entirely, not in the best of shapes.

Pours dark brown with a small head. Aroma: boozy bourbon, chocolate traces, caramelly malts and brown sugar. Taste: extremely boozy bourbon and chocolate. Rich palate.

On tap at Peders, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out big bourbon barrels, medium roast, and some smokiness. Flavour is complex, with medium roast, whiskey barrels, a touch of smoke, and woody oak. Really nice barrel character, finishing dry and woody. Excellent.

On tap at Peders, pours a dirty dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is rich, with intense brown sugar, caramel malts, boozy bourbon barrels, and light burnt notes. Flavour is rich, with intense brown sugar, caramel malts, boozy notes, and bourbon. Rich and decadent, almost too brutal. Very good.
