Geprobeerd van tap bij de brouwerij. Het is een amberkleurig bier met een volle schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige wat fruitige geur. De smaak is moutig, caramel achtig en gedroogd fruit.

Geprobeerd bij het brouwerij cafe. Het is een troebel geel bier met een medium witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige, wat citrus achtige geur. De smaak is moutig, citrus achtig en wat zoet.

On tap @ Kareltje, Heusden. Milky yellow with a white head. Wheat aroma with some citrus. Sweet, slightly sour taste. Not bad for a witbier.

Draught @ Brouwcafé Kareltje. Clear red amber color, medium sized off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Not a lot of aroma. Taste malts, lightly dark and dried fruits, lightly raisins, lightly sweetish and some candy sugar. Decent body and soft carbonation. Actually quite decent.

Draught @ Brouwcafé Kareltje. Hazy pale yellow color, average to medium sized white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Smell and taste wheat, sweetish, lightly sugar and slightly artificial cirrus. Pleasant easy to drink Witbier though.

Draught @ Brouwcafé Kareltje. Clear golden color, decent sized white head. Smell and taste remind me of a pilsener instead of a (typical) blond beer. Lightly some bitter, some malts, nothing more actually. A bit weak both in flavor and in body.

Draught @ Brouwerij Heusden, Stadshaven 1, 5256 BA Heusden, Netherlands.Unclear medium grey amber color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, soap, light hoppy, moderate yeasty, soap. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20090904]
