Bottle from random liquor store, drank at Trounson Kauri Park Campground. Hazy darker golden with big off white head. Strong sweet malts, lots of dank hops, spruce, light grapefruit, caramel, light peach, bitter resin. Quite sweet and bitter and very light tart. Over medium bodied. Decent.

From a 440ml can on 29/7/2018. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a big fluffy white head. the nose is pleasant and very fruit forward with lots of tropical and citrus notes. This tastes absolutely sublime - a perfect balance of fruity sweetness (pineapple, passionfruit, mango, apricot, orange) and firmish hops, with a perfect amount of light grapefruit. Full bodied with a slightly slick texture, and moderate carbonation. A truly magnificent beer, and the best IPA I've had in a very long time.

From a 500ml can on 22/7/2018 (Can says Chur Brewing - Behemoth does not feature prominently in the packaging). Pours a very deep brown with a small head. Has a really strong and quite lovely coffee aroma. The flavour again is primarily strong coffee, milk chocolate, a good dash of roasted malt and some vanilla and lactose. The texture is slightly creamy and the carbonation moderate. Just lovely.

440ml can. Pours clearish yellow brown. Dank, herbal, peach, lemon, herbal, pretty dank, onion. Medium body. A rare miss in the IPA game from Behemoth. I'm not sure I see why so many brewers make these super dank IPAs other than the excellent design opportunities they offer, of which this a fantastic example.
