Clear deep amber brown colour, tall beige head, slowly diminishing, good lacing. Aroma malty, light roasted, caramel. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter, malty, toffee, average duration. Malty sweetbitter finish, light spicy notes, watery to oily texture, maybe a bit on the thin side but decent dunkel (wouldn’t call this a schwarzbier).

Flasche (33 cl) aus einem Laden in Lübbenau/Spreewald. - Leuchtendes Hellgrün, blank; kurzlebiger Schaum. - Riecht matt süßlich und eher künstlich; mit viel Fantasie kann man sich auch Gurke vorstellen. - Antrunk limonadenartig zuckersüß und pappig-brotig mit schwachen, eigenartig künstlichen Gemüsenoten. Erinnert entfernt an die Brühe, in der Gemüsekonserven schwimmen, aber nirgends an echte Gurken. Mild rezent, eher dünn. Im Abgang zeigt sich tatsächlich ein schwaches Gurken- bzw. Dillaroma, das bis in den Nachtrunk bleibt, aber von der limonadigen Süße zugepappt wird. Von Säure keine Spur. - Ziemlich gruseliges „Biermischgetränk“. Gurken hat diese Brühe mit Sicherheit nicht gesehen - die Zutatenliste erwähnt neben Süß- und Farbstoff lediglich „Aromen“ (d.h. synthetische). Nur als Scherz zu betrachten.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leuchtend grünliches Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr süß, Gurkenlimonade. Geschmack ebenfalls nach Gurkenlimonade, süß.

The nose is cucumber with hints if fish. The beer starts sweetish cucumber with hints of watermelon-candy. Very interesting. The aftertaste is sweet-cucumber, very strange.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy poisonous green with small white head. Pungent stench of rotten cucumbers. Overwhelmingly sweet, sugary flavour of pickled cucumber liquid. Disarming, paralyzingly sour-sweet aftertaste. Absolutely charming. It deserves a 5 for sheer ingenuity.
