Hibiscus abbey on tap at Y Market’s First Anniversary Event. A reddish orange pour on this 5% beer gives it the look of grapefruit or blood orange juice. Fruity citrus nose. Medium bodied with a raspy hyperactive prickly carbonation - but actually kind of fun. The taste is sweet blood orange, light hibiscus and quite well balanced. This was quite popular at the event.

On tap at Y Market’s First Anniversary Event. Red squirrel This 6% APA pours a yeasty looking muddy brown with a great hoppy nose giving me dankness & lemons. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. The taste is really interesting chocolate & fruity hops for an easy drinkability. It didn’t impress at first glance but the taste really won me over.

W-market IPA 10.2% On tap at the Y Market First Anniversary Event. It pours an incredibly clear copper gold with s great off white head. The nose is sweet fruit malts and resinous hop dankness. Probably one of the highest ABV beers made in Japan that isn’t barrel aged. Medium-bodied with that raspy carbonation this is a full on double IPA. The taste is malty sweet with a dash of booze, hop punch dazes you with pine & resin. Great stuff.

The nose is pure fruity yuzu with a bit of a hop edge. Medium bodied and smooth with a slightly rough mouthfeel. The taste is earthy/herbal hops with a big dose of yuzu. Super hysteric IPA 78.8 IBUs 7% Their regular IPA hopped to the gills for special events and the taproom. It pours a cloudy orange copper with a musty fruit hop bouquet. Full on hops but not unbalanced this is bitter as hell but smooth. They take their hysteric IPA and add that extra handful of hops.

Spring Keyaki 2014. Clear to lightly cloudy yellow straw color with a small white head. Great aromas of grapefruit, floral hops and mikan. Taste is full of the same with some yeast and arugula as well. Really nice bitter session with a peppery finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hop Seduction Session IPA on 07 May 2015 at 19:25 - Score: 7
