Quietly wild, deep and funky. Living Old Ale slash blackberry saison. Brett’s great for the immune system, eh. So sad I have no more Izumi!

As the label says, Cider-like Beer (saison). That really sums it up. Largely an apple cider like no other. Brilliant, crisp, gassy *burp*

Saison New England hybrid. Starts off with a bit too much ne for me. But after the sip the beer fades into a nice saison yeastiness. But it’s back again with the next sip. I’m torn.

Extra notch cuz this is such a unique beer. Essentially a saison, but aged in a wine barrel previously held by sake. Red wine added, too?

Big cheesy smell bit off putting. Taste is nice though. Light funk, fruit and sourness. Maybe not exactly what he was going for, but nice. Some hop character.
