On tap at Brewdog Roppongi. Hazy yellow with a medium white head. Fresh with hops, mango, some pineapple and mild notes of grass. The bitterness was fairly light.

dark brown color. Frothy light brown head. Malty, milk chocolate and brown bread with raisins in the nose. Semi sweet maltiness. Low carbonation lots of fresh baked Lithuania brown with plums and raisins. warming finish. Roasted malt character is fairly subdued. Fairly interesting and this has potential to really be bad by being too sweet, cloying and unbalanced but it’s like they tried to do something really difficult and they didn’t fuck it up but they didn’t master it either. Really well balanced. I can see why people wouldn’t like this, if they expect a typical imperial stout, but this has its charm. Dry finish with plums and brown bread lasting. Definitely heads into Baltic Porter territory but an ale. The more I drink, the more I groove on it.

Super turbid, golden white color. Tons of papaya and mangoes in the nose. Medium carbonation, low bitterness, very dank. Tons of overripe mangoes. Wish the carbonation was a bit lower, but love the dankness. Slightly phenolic. Not a masterpiece, but solid

Murky yellow gold with a decent white head. Nice creamy mandarin notes. Mango and mandarin with a nice finish. Well done.

Tap at Komachi. Thick whitish-yellow, cloudy, with a medium head. Nose is apricot, papaya, tropical fruits, oranges. Sweet and wheaty, grainy, juicy fruits. Decent.

Tap at Takumiya. Very pale gold with thick heaz and lace. Nose is coconut (Sabro?) pineapple, grapefruit. flavors of grapefruit, pineapple, coconut. Crisp, sharp finish. Damn good.

Tap at Takumiya. Just slightly hazy bright gold. Bright citrus fruit nose, some tropical fruits. Mineral an dcitrus flavor, light coconut, prickly, peppery finish. Bright, high carbonation. Good West Coast IPA.
