Bottle on Halloween. Slightly translucent dull yellow pour with big puffy white head. Aroma is musty orange, plastic, faint grassiness. Taste is similar but not much going on - sort of musty and grassy, some orange zest, bit of salt. Too frothy in the palate. Not great.

Tasting at Matt's, can
Huge head, brown colour. Smell of perfume, light phenol, aniseed. Decent malt and caramel flavour, medium body, well, maybe a bit thin for a Barley Wine, not much depth of flavour; there is some roasted nuts.
Ok but unimpressive.

Tasting at Matt's, bottle
Oily black. The peat aroma is quite strong, dark malts, some burnt rubber. Medium body strength; the flavour is outlined by some roasted malt, dark chocolate, it's a bit salty and peaty, there is a bit of alcohol feeling but not 20%.
Interesting, good.

Pale blond colour, hazy. Touch of saffron aroa. Light and weak body, low acidity. Not bad but boring.

330ml bottle at Matt's. Appearance: hazy copper with a huge beige head. Aroma: malty, dark fruits, some sweetness. Taste: along the same lines, very sweet. Overall: meh.

330mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark mahogany with a large beige head, hinting at an infection. Nose is quite yeasty, with gentle toffee, bready malt, and a touch of fruit. Flavour is thankfully not infected, just very carbonated, with lots of caramel, dark red fruits, and bready toffee. Highly carbonated, especially for the style. It's actually quite pleasant, but the carbonation is way too high for the style. Decent.

Sweet honey notes. Clearish pale gold with a small white head. Bright, touch of honey and not apple. Weirdly honey forward without the typical apple notes.

Roast, smoke and toast. Jet town with a small head. Bitter and smoky with a nutty note and roast.

330mL bottle, pours a murky deep dark brown / near-black with a tiny beige head. Aroma is full of muffled, earthy peat, light molasses, and some alcohol, though I can't say it smells like a 20% beer. Flavour is more pleasant, with lots of peaty smoke, a hint of dry espresso, and light molasses. Tastes more like a ~10% beer. Tastes better than it smells, but not bad overall.
