Bottle at Bar Tao, Bangkok. Near clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, light herbal hops and light malt. Flayis light moderate sweet and bitter. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Draft at Pijiu, Bangkok. Fairly hazy golden orange with a thick white head. Aroma of citrus, orange, tropical fruits, light woody notes, green weedy hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle. Light golden color, almost clear, white foam. Aroma: fruity, slightly spicy hops, malt, apple. Taste: clean, light, fruity, drinkable.

Keg at Baan Bangkok. Poured a murky light brown colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grainy malt, floral, aromatic hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a watery malt, dishwasher, floral dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. This beer looked, smelled and tasted awful. I paid 240 Baht for this. I could have got five cans of Chang for the same money! So bad that the beer was returned for something else. The bar owner of the bar agreed it was dreadful.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L's place. Thanks Lior D. Very dark brown to black, some tan foam. Chocolate, nuts, cocoa, sweet, roast, slightly ashy. Nice porter.

Bottle from Wishbeer, Bangkok. Poured a clear medium brown with a frothy, short-lived light tan head. The aroma is roasted light caramel malt, dry charcoal, liqouirce, coffee. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter with a dry roast, slightly watery dry, light spice, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Served a little too cold, directly out of the fridge, but the flavours came through as the beer warmed. A little “Black IPA ish” to be honest.
