Can. Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazed pale copper gold. Fine white head is lasting and semi lacing. Nose has big bready yeasty notes. Peppery hop. Sweet toasty grain. Taste is a little sweet with a decent amount of herbal, floral and fruity bitterness. Super smooth mouthfeel with fine carbonation. Peppery spice on the finish. Really solid stuff.

Can. Beer Central, Sheffield. Light haze on a deep ruby red. Fine beige head is lasting and semi lacing. Nose has charcoal. Earthy coffee bean. Glimmer of hop. Taste is earthy and dry with a burnt malt bitterness. Some astringency on the palate. Lingering burnt bitterness to finish. Not very good really.

330ml bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield - cloudy gold body, little in the way of head. Nose is estery, very sweet in the first swig, even sweeter and harsh after that. Lots of barley sugar sweetness. NOT IMPRESSIVE AT ALL.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazed, dirty gold. Fine white head. A few bubbles. Nose has bready grain. Taste is horribly sweet. It’s like raw wort. Medium body. Pretty cloying. Fine carbonation. Sweetness on the finish, combines with some leafy bitterness. Bad.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Pale gold. Light haze. Fine white head. Nose has fruity grain. Pineapple weed hop. Some citrus peel. Some strawberry syrup. Taste is similarly sweet, with a moderate, oily citrus bitterness. Medium body. Lightly oily. Fine carbonation. Moderate bitterness to finish. Decent old school IPA. Probably wasn’t meant to be old school, mind you.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Dirty amber colour. Light haze. Swirl and a few bubbles of white. Nose has fruity, jammy hop. Sweet grain. Taste is a little jammy, with some earthy bitterness. Light to medium body. Fine carbonation. Moderate bitterness to finish. So Emmanuales are back, but they still haven’t learned how to bottle a beer without it being / getting oxidised.

Bottle shared at Cotteridge Convention 2018 - cheers all! Pours cloudy orange-brown with a slight foamy head. Tangy citric character in here, some grass, pine, earth. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes lightly resinous, with notes of toasted brown bread, orange peel. Um, OK.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. These were recalled by the brewer, in exchange for a refund. But, tickers gotta tick? Should never have been sent out, really. The brewer had this laying around for ages, due to bottling problems, but tried to flog it, regardless. Anyway, it pours a hazy copper colour. Skim of off white head. Nose has stewed hop. Stewed malt. Smells like a week opened barley wine. Taste is syrupy sweet. Stewed hop bitter. Slick, syrupy mouthfeel. Low carbonation. Sticky, oxidised, high ABV nonsense, as expected, although to be fair, I’ve had worse.
