Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, chocolate, toffee and some mild alcohol tones. Flavour is liquorice, some alcohol, mild toffee some nutty elements with figs as well. Lovely.

Black colour, small white head. Aroma is chocolaty, some toffee, roasted and mild alcohol with some oaky tones too. Flavour is toffee, some alcohol, roasted malts and some alcohol tones with syrupy elements. Quite sweet and alcohol does burn on the gums. Still tasty.

Rating #48,000. 330mL bottle, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma reveals huge cognac barrels front-and-centre, with a deep roasted malt base, and some umami notes. Flavour is rich and complex, with intense cognac barrels, dark chocolatey roasted malts, leather, tobacco, and a touch of dark dried fruits. The cognac barrels are used to perfection, somehow not adding any harshness at all. Excellent.
