Description
Rooted in Northern Nevada, Revision Brewing Co. touts a hefty lineup of world-awarded ultra-premium beers distributed throughout 15 states in the U.S. and 8 countries. The brewery specializes in IPAs, New England-Style IPAs, Reds, Lagers, Porters, Stouts, Pastry Stouts, Barrel-Aged Beers and most recently, hard seltzers. Revision Brewing Company beers have won awards in the US, Japan, Australia, Germany, and Belgium.
Revision Brewing Company stemmed from Brewmaster Jeremy Warren’s desire to start a brewery that embraced creative freedom. For Revision, that transcends from beer to label. The art of brewing is united with art itself with Revision labels featuring over twenty artists on ever-rotating IPA releases, keeping the labels as fresh and innovative as the beer itself.
The brewery also has a rebellious flair that can be seen by the edgy incorporations & a Wild West mentality which is prevalent in the branding at Revision. Reno as F*%k Hazy IPA was awarded Gold at 2019 World Lupulin Challenge Juicy Double IPA Category and has such a draw that the brewery decided to launch Vegas as F*%k Hazy IPA to show their Nevada roots across the entire state. The AF beers are highly sought after by locals and people visiting the state and are one of the best sellers for the brewery.

Can from Holiday Wine Cellar, Escondido. Canned 11/15/2017 (less than 4 weeks ago). Hazy yellow/orange color. Sticky off white head. Aroma's: very juicy, citrus, tropical fruit, dank hops, some sweetness. Retronasal it's more resinous, herbal and dank hops, a bit less juicy. Flavor is mildly bitter, light citrussy. Light medium bodied. Light hopburn. Finishes light moderate bitter, slightly dry.

Tap at WSac Flaming Grill. Pours hazy orange gold with a creamy white head. Aroma of juicy mixed fruits. Full bodied IMHO. Flavor is juicy and fruity. Wow. Not very dry and very nicely bitter. A jumble of pale stone and tropical with some citrus. Great.

16 oz. Can from Boise Co-op. Hazy, milky yellow golden, small airy head, kind of fizzy at first. Nice citrusy aroma, some tropical notes, a bit of hop bitterness. Taste gets bitter right away, back up by more citrus, fruity, juicy notes. Lingering gentle bitterness remains a constant throughout. Very well balanced. Light on the tongue, but not on the palate.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma seems juicy with pale stone fruits. Med body. It is juicy. It is fruity. There might be a trace of citrus. The malt is barely detectable. Not wholly dry and moderately bitter. Tasty stuff.

Super hazy golden coloured body with a thick, foamy and ugly-lacing pure white head that starts off at about three centimetres and fades down quickly. Aroma of rich dank, resinous hops with a good deal of citrus and pine, and an assertive, almost rubbing-alcohol like scent with some astringent notes and a dash of white pepper near the end. Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and juicy flavoured hops up front with some citrus, oranges, curacao and a dash of deeper malt right behind. Aftertaste shows more of the grassy and floral elements, but a lot of citrus and fruity elements, including apricots are noticeable. Overall, a nice and rich beer with a good flavour and perhaps even better complexity as the flavours meld and combine to make an easy-drinking, yet powerful beer. Great to try, and while I'm not certain why we can get it on this coast, very happy that we can! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can purchased a few hours ago at Whole Foods in New York (Bryant Park, 42nd Street), New York on 01-December-2017 for US$4,99 sampled in my hotel room in New York here on the 1st of December, 2017 a few hours later.
