Revision Brewing Company
Regional Brewery
in Sparks,
Nevada,
United States 🇺🇸
Associated Venue: Revision Brewing Company
Established in 2017
Revision Brewing Company stemmed from Brewmaster Jeremy Warren’s desire to start a brewery that embraced creative freedom. For Revision, that transcends from beer to label. The art of brewing is united with art itself with Revision labels featuring over twenty artists on ever-rotating IPA releases, keeping the labels as fresh and innovative as the beer itself.
The brewery also has a rebellious flair that can be seen by the edgy incorporations & a Wild West mentality which is prevalent in the branding at Revision. Reno as F*%k Hazy IPA was awarded Gold at 2019 World Lupulin Challenge Juicy Double IPA Category and has such a draw that the brewery decided to launch Vegas as F*%k Hazy IPA to show their Nevada roots across the entire state. The AF beers are highly sought after by locals and people visiting the state and are one of the best sellers for the brewery.

Tap at Pita Kabob in Visalia. Pours clear brushed gold with fluffy printing white head that fades to a collar. Grapefruit and moderate pine aroma. Taste is citrus based with crystal malt backing. Finishes semi-dry. Moderate bitterness. Really a nice, clean beer.

Can from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear brassy gold with a nice white head. Aroma verges on dank. The malt comes across like a dessert bakery item. Madelaine kind of thing. Med ++ body. Flavor is just on the dank side. Lots of hop. Mostly piney stuff for me. The malt is not so much roasty, as, stated above, something like a little dessert baked thing. So it’s not 100% dry, but pretty dry. It’s really very hoppy, and pretty bitter, but it’s not a burning harsh bitter. Mouth is in hop heaven, but not in a burning way. This hopping is something off the beaten, drown it in hops, path. I really appreciate that something new is presented. New to me anyway.

Bomber from Corti Bros. Pours brassy gold with a white head. Aroma is dark, earthy, fruity and arguably a touch tropical. Not to mention citrus/pine. Med ++ body. Flavor is dank. Then theres mixed fruits, citrus/pine and arguably some mild caramel support. Surprisingly the hops are not harsh. Brutally dank and earthy, but not harsh. Amazing flavor.

Can. Pours clear orange, medium white head, dissipates fairly quickly, decent lacing. Aroma is super dank and potty, greens indeed. Flavor is light sweet, medium bitter, dank as fuck, some pine with your pot as a bit of a bonus. Hints of orange zest. A bit of heat as well. Medium body. Pretty solid beer.

12oz bottle picked up at Total Wine in LV
Pours clear light golden with a medium sized off-white head, some lacing. Aroma of dank hops, oily and pine. Flavor dank, onion and resiny
It’s nice for a company to go back to good, resiny ipas’. Smooth for 11%.

Bomber from Cap Tap. Pours gold with a slight, transient white head. Aroma is hop! Hop! Hop! Roasty malt base? Can’t get it. Med + body. There is a caramel malt base for support, but it’s not very roasty. It’s IPA support. And the hop is juicy fruity. It’s a long way from dank, but it’s hoppy and juicy. Decently bitter too. This is APA the way it should have been. SNPA is too malty for my taste. This is great. Nails what should have been the style.

Bomber from Cap Tap. Pours bright gold with a white head. Aroma wants to be dank. It’s well on the way. Lots of fruit. Hard to parse. Med body at least. Flavor is IMHO dankish. It’s fruity/earthy. It’s not entirely dry. The hop bitter is fairly intense, and the malt is fighting back. Hard to believe it’s "only" 50 IBU. Really outstanding IPA. This brewery was originally intended to plant in a "city" 15 miles from me. Now it’s on the other side of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Quel Dommage! Where is Doctor Who to remedy this gross injustice?

Bomber from Cap Tap. Pours clear bright gold with a foamy white head. Dank aroma. Whew! Full bodied. Flavor is fruit juicy dank followed by something making me think of vanilla. Weird brain fart no doubt. It’s bitter. Hop burn. No heat in the mouth, but my brain is quickly figuring things out. Whew! To paraphrase the old Wendy’s ad: "Where’s the malt?" Under a heap of hops. Wow. Hophead dream ale. Bitter, dry and the hops linger on into the finish forever.
