Tap, bocktown, nice place. THis pours big and black. Smells like nice friendly dark brew, no hint of coffee on the nose. Taste is rather mild & flat cold coffee. Brew is better than expected. Lacks any of that over the top coffee thang so common in today’s coffee beers.

tap mad mex. pale. slight sweet fun aroma. some co2. start off rather hop bitter and wants to make an impression but it never quite gets thar. yep, never quite gits into ipa territory. one thing fer sure tho, just in case this is not gluten beer, it lacks any of that bandaid feel to it. good job. not bad for a pale ale, APA that is. not really oppressive enough to be an ipa, jmho. an overall rather fresh kinda hoppy beer.

Tap mad mex. Look, if you like IPA and can’t have gluty, this is for you. It’s got this big slamming IPA impact including the slight BO aroma. Yes, along with the big IPA blast, you get some of that bandaid thing in there, it’’s hard to ignore. Quite like a decent IPA, terribly on style. Big rude taste bud rototilling experience with a long bitter finish. Did look pretty good in the glass with its hazy attitude.

A lot of sharp roast. Some dark chocolate and caramel with a hint of mocha. Good balance. Very sharp bitter finish. Creamy consistency on nitro. Tap at Pipers pub.
