Pours a nice rich cbrwon from a can. Big bourbon aroma, sweet caramel malt. Similar flavor, not terribly hoppy. Hides the alcohol well. Pretty good beer.

12oz can from Tavour. Black pour, wispy beige head, tiny ring. Strong, roasty aroma, bourbon, coffee, cocoa. Taste is roasty and bitter, cocoa, bourbon influence fades, light lactose. Heat makes a short appearance in the finish.

12oz can from Tavour. Clear, dark brown pour with a layer of silky beige head. Coffee is first in the aroma. Taste balances the coffee with chocolate and a hint of vanilla, weak yeasty flavors. Light bourbon barrel notes creep in along with some residual warmth. Solid brown ale

Can from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a creamy tan head. Aroma of chocolate and bourbon, perhaps a touch of yeast/spice. Med plus body. Flavor is chocolate/banana with slightly burnt malt and a touch of lactose. Spice notes. Banana not very strong. Not sticky sweet, and bourbon/heat bitter. Quite nice.

12 ounce can from Tavour. Translucent brown color. Earthy toasted malt aroma. Notes of coffee and dark chocolate. Flavor is sweet, earthy, toasted malt and dark roasted coffee. Hints of vanilla, brown sugar and pumpernickel bread. Rich and malty, through and through.

Tavour can: pours clear brown with beige head. Aroma is raisin, Belgian yeast, spice, candy sugar. Taste is clean, somewhat sweet, fruity. Very drinkable.
