12oz can from Tavour. Side by side tasting with the Hazelnut Latte. Dark brown pour with a ring of beige head. Sweet maple aroma greets the nose from a distance. Taste is super sweet, maple first, then vanilla. A bit of burn follows the sugary sweetness. The base stout is almost completely subservient to the sweet maple. However, I like this a touch more than the Hazelnut Latte. Both have their own qualities.

12oz can from Tavour. Dark brown pour, patchy beige head. Aroma flavors the coffee with latent hazelnut, chocolate. Taste is roasty and dark, burnt toast, nutty and coffee notes. More bitter than the Vanilla Maple .

Can from Tavour. Pours ruddy amber with a transient tan head. Aroma of cinnimon and amburana - I know amburana thanks to Dogfish Head (I think). Med body at least. Flavor matches the aroma with the addition of maple. There's a lot of floral in it too. Not dry. Not bitter exactly, but close enough to balance the mix and render this delicious.

12oz can from Tavour. Dark amber pour, spotty head. Sweet aroma, honey, cinnamon, rum. Taste brings oodles of savory notes from the amburana, honey, caramel, cinnamon. Really luscious, creamy. Unexpected pleasure.

Can from Tavour. Pours translucent pale amber with a transient white head. Aroma of yeast/malt. Approaching full bodied. Flavor is yeast/malt/coriander/pale stone fruit. Not dry. Not sticky (or not very). A little heat. Not bitter, but something stands in for that. Heavy duty. Nice flavor.

Still not crazy about salted stouts I guess but it's not bad, just last year's peanut butter deadline was my favorite and I think this salted one this year was my least. Personal preferences yo!
