on tap. Smooth in the beginning. The beer starts malty with earthy hints, that gets more intense to the mainpart. Floral-smooth, caramel. The aftertaste is smooth, floral, sweetish-bitter. Nice for a Red Ale. 10/12/11/10

Frisch-hopfiger blumiger Geruch. The Beer is floral with hints if caramel, malty. The mainpart is fruity, malty. Slightly bitter and nicely floral-fresh. Easy to drink and smooth. Floral-sweet aftertaste. Caramel-malty Ale-typical dry. Nice! --> 12/12/12/12

Keg @ Sweetmans, Dublin [230314] Told it was 6.8%
Caramel brown, hazy, thin white head, some lacing
Aroma of tropical fruits, passion fruits, caramel malts, sweet fruity malts
Taste of caramel, soft roast toffee malts, big hop underneath, bitter zest, tropical fruits, dab of bitter black tea, tad too malty though, rich intense flavour
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, oily texture, rich. Finish - heavy malty, big hoppy bitter, long lingering bitter, not sure about bitter sweet balance - seems overstuffed on both
Overall - Would like it less malty, but I still liked it a lot

A dark ale with a small head. It has a good mix of roasted and sweet malts.
