[12oz can from Beer52.] A hazy straw coloured pour with a tight white head; bready aroma; soapy to start, and quite acidic and refreshing in the mouth with a bready body and a touch of citrus; then some honey in the finish. not a classic Kolsch in my opinion.

Can from Beer 52 – drank at home. Pours a pale gold with a sizeable but transient frothy white head. There’s some generic citrus in the aroma, but not much. In the mouth, there’s ay brief burst of sweet tropical fruit before hoppy citrus kicks in along with grapefruit, mango and some wheaty yeastiness. Later on some pine notes lead to a slightly sticky finish. Decent, but not my type of beer at all.

Thin light brown head on a dark brown body. Roasted malt & nutty aroma. Medium bodied, super smooth & tingly on the back. Dark chocolate, malt, aniseed & bitter hoppy tastes with a salty finish. Really enjoyable.

16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. slightly hazed medium gold pour. Large rocky beige head. Funky, fruity aroma hints at apples. Tangy, bittersweet fruity flavors upfront. Citrus, apple, spice. Interesting amalgamation of flavors. a bit of banana and coriander on the backend. Then some warming alcohol to finish it off. quite tasty.
