Granite Falls Brewery is a 30BBL/(40BBL) craft beer production facility. We brew onsite and within sight while you indulge your senses in our Southern Gastropub restaurant and attached Tasting Room. Our brewpub features a wraparound 103-foot-long tasting counter, and serves as a world-class music venue. Eclectic artifacts dress the spaces for those with an itch for the odd or unique.

Draft. hazy golden amber color, medium white head. Nice aroma of mixed citrus and flowers. Taste is lightly bitter fruit. Tasty.

Pour is a red-ish brown with almost no head at all. Aroma is a nice big dark fruit with toffee and a bit of coffee. Flavor is a large dose of sweet caramel malt with toffee, plums and again I get some coffee after the swallow. Nice earthy malt with lots of dark fruit. No alcohol is felt, my bottle says this is now 9%, but it is getting warmer in here. This is a most flavorful wee heavy.

Bottle at Pint Central. Clear maroon color, tan head. Aroma has raisins, dates, plum. Taste has burnt caramel, dark fruit, brown sugar, light booze. Very tasty.

Draft at Salud. Cloudy golden amber color, see pic if you like. Berry and sourdough bread aroma. Taste is lightly sour berries. Very easy drinking. A good starter sour.

Clear deep golden with small white head. Aroma is nice herbal hops, medium body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is herbal hops and bitter finish.

Clear Amber with big beige head. Aroma is nice caramel malt, medium body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is caramel malt and a little toffee.

Location: Draft at World of Beer, Charlotte, 1/19/15

Aroma: Sort of an odd, but okay peanut oil aroma, with some light hop notes.
Appearance: This one pours a clear amber color with a small head and light, drippy lace.
Flavor: The taste is a mix of peanut oil and a slightly off amber flavors.
Palate: That is certainly not a great mouthfeel at all, it is light bodied, and a little thin.
Overall Impression: This is certainly not good. It kind of reminds me of that oil that is left over from homemade peanut butter. That is not necessarily what I am looking for in a beer. I love peanut butter, but not here.

Brewgrass 2014 Pours hazy gold with a thin white head. Hoppy aroma of pine resin and citrus. The flavor is bitter with a good malt support. nice beer.
