On tap at the source. Hazy lemony yellow with a bubbly white head that slowly dissipates. Huge tropical earthy citrus orange note in the aroma and flavor with a solid sweet bready malt to back it up.

Can (8/24/20) pour from The Beer Store, Nashua. Appearance is deeply hazy orange-yellow-light brown with trace sparkle, finger-width white foamy head with poor retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is subtle mix of melon, grape, candied stone fruit. Taste is really strong candied stone fruit, hint of alcohol, malt backbone. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation, nice alcohol warmth and sweet finish as taste. Overall, as advertised--a meal of a body and really strong flavor. I wish aroma had been as strong. Will have to keep an eye out for other Barbe Rouge beers.

16 oz. can. Thanks going to tfontana on this trade. August canning. The flavor is mildly sweet fruit throughout with the slightest herbal bitterness in the finish. Booze is only lightly noticed as it warms. Very well-balanced and juicy. Wow! Very nice brew!

Easily my favorite of the afternoon. Had two 10oz. Cups. Grapefruit, lemon, very soft pine without resin. Well balanced with a soft mouth feel. 93° outside and I crushed two of these.
