Sample taster at the source. Aroma is moderate roasted grain, coffee, dusty chocolate. Flavor mild coffee, ashy cocoa, mild earth. Body is medium, texture is bone dry. There is a very capable recipe here. Something about the coffee that just didn't sit quite right for me. Still drinkable.

Sample taster at the source. Pours hazy straw yellow with a small white head, no lacing. Aroma of lemon juice, wheat and light acid. Taste of cereal grain, lemon rind, tart dry finish. Low salinity level. Very nice.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5
Sample taster at the source. Nice banana, vanilla, clove nose with thin white, good lacing. Cloudy yellow in color couldn’t see through. Taste is traditional hefeweizen. Yeast matured properly, good phenols. Medium in body, lightly chewy texture. Traditional and exactly as it should be.

Sample taster at the source. Poured a deeper amber color with a small sized head. Aromas of toasted grain, caramel, and lighter earthiness. Tastes shows malt / earthy tones, thin texture. Mild spice finish. (Overall, all I can do is shrug my shoulders at this one). Meh
CLW (16859) reviewed Stone Wall Milk Stout from Backyard Brewery 8 years ago
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5
Draft taster at the brewery. Flavors of milk chocolate, sweet grains and moderate vanilla. The finish is chocolatey with a mild creamy texture. Overall, a well-executed sweet stout that is not cloying or overly sweet. Real nice mouthfeel.
CLW (16859) reviewed A-Line Classic IPA from Backyard Brewery 8 years ago
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5
Draft taster at the brewery. Pale amber in color, fizzy head. Aroma has good citrus, white bread caramel. The flavor is very old-school, caramel/ toffee sweetness with pine being the dominant flavor profile. Bitterness is just an off the balance the toffee. IPA from the year 1998, but that is what I like about it.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7
Draft taster at the brewery. Deep brown color, thin head. Aroma is prune, Belgian yeast, candy sugar. Flavor is done well least is followed by some candy and mild chocolate. Medium in body, with a nice yeast presence. Respectable.
CLW (16859) reviewed Oh My Gourd from Backyard Brewery 8 years ago
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 5.5
Draft taster at the brewery. I tired to be very subjective since I no longer like "pumpkin" brews. Slightly hazy orange color without any head. Aroma is mild nutmeg, weak gourd. Flavor has a weak caramel and toasted grain backbone. Plenty of spice in this brew. Not overwhelming but pretty much covers everything. Doesn't work for me.
CLW (16859) reviewed Backhoe Blonde from Backyard Brewery 8 years ago
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 5.5
Draft taster at the brewery. Hazy golden color with a cap of thin head. Aroma is grain, honey and light bready sweet malt. Pale grain backbone and the flavor follows the aroma. Light in body leaning on watery, Light fruit hint with a crisp dry finish. Straight forward, "It is what it is". Ok.

Draft taster at the brewery. Moderate brown color, mild carbonation. Light nutty aromas, yeast. Mouthfeel is light and flavor is very nice roasty-nut. Texture is pretty thin but this is serviceable.
