12 oz. can. Clear, golden color, with a big, foamy, white head. The nose is straw, mild spruce, caramel, and rose. Sweet and malty, with a light, dusty bitterness. Light, smooth, and clean. Easy and pretty well made.

Vanilla and cocoa nose. Mahogany, medium tan head. Cocoa, charred oak, vanilla, raisin. Full body, easy carbonation. Surprising complexity.

12 oz. bottle. Clear, amber color, with a fairly big, foamy, beige head. The aroma is caramel, walnut, brandied cherries, pumpernickel, and brown sugar. Sweet and sugary, with a mellow, earthy bitterness. Medium body, smooth, and slick. Clean and tasty enough.

Bottle. Had it on draft at the Keeneland Racetrack. Nice copper, amber color. Wellbalanced with a mild hop and nutty malt flavor. Not much head and no lace.

Bottle. I can smell the oak and bourbon in this beer, with a whiff of alcohol. Has that light amber, brown color of bourbon. Not much head. Pretty strong stuff. Nice beer though.

Can. Not a very good example of this style. Taste more like an America Pale Lager than a Kölsch. Just not good.
