12 oz bottle. Aroma of cocoa and roasted malt. The flavor is the same with a weak hint of cheap whiskey. Body is really thin for a porter. Overall, not bad. However, it is really light in the britches.

Black with a large tan head that left decent lacing. Roasty and somewhat sourish with whiskey, cocoa and vanilla. Long finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth.

Chocolate malt, bourbon, and hay aroma. Black with moderate brown head. Mildly sweet cocoa malt, and mildly bitter dry hay flavor. Light body.

Pours near black with a small tan head. It smells of chocolate, roast malt and bourbon. The flavor is fairly sweet with chocolate, mild bourbon, coffee, and roast malt. It’s pretty good though as is often the case with this brewer, I find myself wishing the flavors were more intense, maybe a darker roast character with more hops.
