Bottle from Ashland Beverage Center. The beer is a clear yellow-amber color with a thin and foamy white head that disappears quickly. Thin strings of lacing. Mild malt and caramel aroma. Light body with with sweet grain, malt and fruit flavors. Just a hint of hops bitterness in the background. The finish is short with a sweet malt aftertaste. Barely average overall.

12 oz bottle from acknud! Nose of caramel, and grain, with a light vanilla and fruity pear note in the background; dark gold with a small off-white head; flavor has a bit of fruitiness, toffee, and a tiny buttery note. Cool bottle cap with a horses head on top! Maybe it’s brewed by the Godfather!

Bottle from Party Source. The beer is a clear amber-orange color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Thin ting of lacing with spots under it. The aroma is pretty much all bourbon, with maybe a hint of malt buried under it. Medium-bodied with a bourbon overkill character of which the smell warned. Touches of woody malt and hops but again the bourbon overwhelms. The finish is oak and bourbon with a lingering whiskey aftertaste. Not for me.

This ale poured a amber colour with not much of a head at all. To the nose there was scents of bourbon, butter and alcohol. First sip was buttery with smoke flavour. Notes of whiskey, buttered veggies and ???. Almost an oily mouthfeel. The finnish is thick and full of bourbon flavour.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear, golden amber with a little lacing head. Slight chemical nose of bourbon. Flavour is light bourbon, somewhat a clear flavour, but still light. Quite interesting light bodied yet powerful flavoured. Ends with a lasting bourbon flavour.
