Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear gold body that supports a thin off white head of foam. The aroma offers up caramel drizzled sweet bread bleeding slowly into thin pine hop notes. There might be a faint grapefruit citrus note floating around but it doesn't provide any help against the sweetness. The taste delivers modest bitter pine hops that are swallowed up by sweet malts, sweet breadiness and a mild sweet caramel note. All in all far to much sweetness going on here with little hoppiness to provide a semblance of balance.
