7th May 2016, 22oz bottle with the wife in the Encinitas Ale House. As the name suggests this is a golden blond ale, the head Snow White. Light malty aroma with a citrus twist, taste on the same lines. Subtle rather than in your face, decent.

Tap at Oedo Fest. Big juicy orange and mikan notes on the nose. Lots of pulpy citrus on the palate. Easy drinking with good carbonation. Slightly pithy bitter finish, but not overdone. Pretty good.

Bomber from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours coppery gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is mellow citrusy hop. Med body. Lush mouth feel. Flavor is lush citrusy hop with mildly roasty caramel backbone. Nice touches of Southern Cross fruits. Pretty bitter. Very tasty.

Hazy amber color, reddish, with very small head. A bit of malt aroma. Strong mouthfeel, a bit oily, sweet, some caramel, orangey hops, and definitively too old, not worth investigating more, but there’s no date on the bottle.

Hazy light tan. Aroma has some florals, mandarin, but some heavier, dull malts. Has a minty, sweet, sort of hop extract, and has a very sweet character. Not mega boozy, but for the dull malts this would be good.

Hazy golden color, small compact head.Nice toffeish malts in the aroma and flavor, the mouthfeel is not too sweet, although the alcohol can be perceived; the hopping is quite good, it’s resiny and a bit orangey, powerful but not too bright.
Good, not exceptional.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is intense, with lots of resinous hops, caramel malt and residual candied sugar. Flavour is full of tropical and citrus fruits, with lots of grapefruit, melon and pineapple upfront, followed by resinous hops, and caramel malt. Thankfully, a low amount of sweetness for a triple IPA. Well-constructed and appropriately balanced overall. Excellent.
