About
A love for technical hobbies and nudge from economic pressures in 2008 led us to pursue a path with beer. Years of brewing, tweaking, DIY projects and determination all culminated on our opening day July 1, 2011. We started with a 5 bbl brew house fabricated from repurposed tanks and now sell beer to all of south central Pennsylvania. Over the past 9 years we have grown thanks to incredible beer fans, with that growth we have been able to announce our new facility expansion, you can follow us on Facebook and Instagram for that progress.

Bottle. Poured a nearly pitch black color with a small tan head. Aroma was big, dark roasted malts, chocolate. Vanilla and toasted marshmallow. Raisin, and bourbon.

Sampled from the tap at Quarry House Tavern. Pours near black with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a creamy coffee with dark grains and a decent amount of dark grain and chocolate backing. Flavor combines creamy coffee and chocolate well with sweet dark grains and roast supporting.

10oz pour at Max's. Light hazy golden, silky white head. Aroma is muted strawberry and lactose. Banana not all that prominent in the taste, but vanilla kicks in. Lactose smoothness

16 ounce can. Jet black pour. Frothy tan head. Sweet roasted malt aroma hints at milk chocolate, vanilla and coconut. Sweetness levels off a bit with first sip. Definite notes of cocoa, graham crackers, vanilla and a touch of licorice. Medium bodied and drinkable. 8% ABV is barely noticeable. Decent.
