Cask at the source: pours golden with a sparse cask head. Aroma is tropical fruit but a very nice aroma in general. Taste is pretty light. Carbonation is light too as a result os the caskness. Kind of sweet. Very smooth and mellow and fruity.

At the source: pours golden with a white head. Light tropical fruits and some citrus. Taste is pretty nice. Light hoppiness. Kind of like a really light IPA. Very mellow. Little aftertaste. Nice finish.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear copper red with small foamy off-white head, sweetish woodsy aroma, medium carbonation, slightly bitter salty caramel taste with whisky undertones, long whisky infused bitter finish. It’s actually hard to differentiate between this brew and the Barrel-Ages Treebeard, especially if you try one after another.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy bright yellow with small white frothy head, faint hops aroma, medium carbonation, hoppy taste with citrus peel in the background, abrupt finish. Balanced hoppy brew.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear dark red with mediun sized foamy beige head, caramel and hops aroma, medium carbonation, slightly sweet caramel taste, overrriden by hops, medium bitter finish, Quite nice and smooth, easy to drink.

Draught @ the brewpub. Clear reddish dark amber with small creamy beige head, smooth woodsy whisky aroma, medium carbonation, caramel taste with whisky undertones, smooth mouthfeel, longish finish with alcohol aftertaste. Feels to have a stronger alcohol content than advertised.
