From a bottle it is a cloudy unfiltered apple cider color with a slight head. The aroma is cardamom and the taste is sour with hints of Granny Smith apples. Tart finish

500 ml bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a large amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big grapefruit, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, melon, berry, tangerine, lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, white peppercorn, white bread, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and light-moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, melon, berry, tangerine, lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, white peppercorn, white bread, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of peppery yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, melon, berry, pear, apple, white peppercorn, white bread, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/spiciness balance, and zero astringent flavors after the finish. High carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, dry, and lightly creamy/grainy/sticky mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is an outstanding dry hopped saison! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink for the ABV. A highly enjoyable offering.

Funk, meyer lemon, blood orange, toejam nose. Clear rose colored, medium pink head, no retention. Barnyard funk, raspberries, cobwebs, violets. Light body, easy carbonation. Unique but the blood orange didn’t show as expected.

Honey and apricot nose, a little funky. Hazy amber, thin head. Crabapple, apple core, allspice, lemon zest. Apricot overtones, malt and honey finish. Full body, easy carbonation. A bit too tart for the style.

Bottle at home finish up the long weekend. This is an odd duck of a beer. Pours lifeless copper. Nose is light citrus and bits of funk. Tastes semi funky, of apricot, touch of cherry, green apple, basement floor, hint of sherry. No carbonation and subdued tartness.

Bottle at Paradiso Dupont. Crystal clear yellow color, champagne bubbles, pillowy white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of straw and dusty white pepper. Lots of lemon in the flavor, with light funk and a dry finish. Hi carbonation interferes with the mouthfeel. Otherwuse a very tasty beer.
