Bottle. Petroleum black. Opaque. Small tan head. Nose: roast, coffee, chocolate, light vanilla and a hint of barrel aging. Full body. Taste. Lots of malt power. Fairly roasty, chocolate, coffee, dried fruit. Hints of crea and vanilla. Hardly any whisky. Just the right hop amount coming up at finish. Good.

330ml bottle from Bochka in Moscow. Pours black with a medium-sized tan head. Aroma is roastiness, coffee, banana (but hardly prominent). Taste is roasted malt, caramel, again faint banana. Expected it to be a lot more fruity.

Tap. Dark brown color, coffee foam. Sweet aroma, caramel, a little caramelized banana, a little coffee and a pie crust, spicy. Caramel taste, lightly burnt, banana, toffee, dried fruits, a little acetone, fruity, looks like Belgian Dark Strong Ale.

Draft at Craft House. Dark brown color tan head. Aroma has banana esters and milk chocolate. Taste is bananas dipped in Hershey’s dipped in coffee. Very tasty.

Tap. Hazy deep brown to black. Small cream coloured head. Aroma: roasted malts, coffee, minor banana, dried fruit. Medium body. Malty taste. Roast, coffee. Minor banana. Medium strong flavour. Not spectacular at all.
