Shandys exemplify everything we look for in a craft beer—they are different from the mainstream, fun, inviting, and social, and thanks to the finest ingredients, shandys taste amazing.

16 oz pour on draft at No Name Restaurant in Boston. Served in a Sam Adams glass. Hazy orange with off-white head. Aromas of grapefruit juice, sweet citrus. Tastes of grapefruit juice, wheat, slightly medicinal. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

On tap at Hangar on the wharf.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy orange color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated to nothing. It didn’t leave any lacing.
The smell had the grapefruit in a sweet yet stingingly sharp accent. A light sugary touch graced the aroma as it warmed.
The taste was swe and sharp with no aftertaste but a sharp quick finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a heavy carbonation about it.
Overall, everything started off okay until I let it roll over my tongue. I didn’t care for the mouthfeel, it seemed overly carbonated.

Draft sampled at old chicago. From notes. Lemon, grapefruit and wheat notes. Nice and refreshing, not too sticky or sweet.

Bottle: Cloudy, light golden-yellow with a creamy white head. Sweet apple-soda aroma. Taste is apple....but more like the core and skin, rather than the meat. Malty...even a little beer-ness to it. Almost a cantaloupe essence in there.... Really, fairly tasty and refreshing...even has a decent bit of body to it.

Bottle at a sampling event. Meh/yeh...tasted like a dank cider mixed with some Seagrams tonic water. Maybe a bad bottle, maybe a crap product - who knows...

Bottle. Cinnamon, clove, pomegranate and orange malt aroma. Dark yellow with large off-white head. Sweet strong cinnamon, pomegranate and orange malt flavor. Actually not bad but more like a mulled wine/gluehwein than a beer.

Pours from a bottle like it can’t make up its mind between being an amber and a copper. Aroma is an immediate fake spiciness. Flavor is very lackluster and metallic, like licking the inside of a can of pumpkin pie filling. Not a good beer.

From a bottle. As far as shandies go, this brew is much less than expected. Not sweet nor tangy. Just a iced tea colored brew that smells pretty good and fruity but lacks that typical shandy feel. Needs a little more sweetness and a little more tartness. I don’t care for the spice thing in there either. Disappointing tho it does have decent carbonation.
