Can from total wine in NC pours totally clear pale with a slight orange tint. Big foaming head, hard to keep it from rolling over. Nose is odd sweet volatile hop olfactory. Hardly any carbonation on the palate, virtually flat. Not as mouthcoating or viscous as most IPA. Still, has that rude ass bitter hop effect that makes you think you are chewing on green grapefruit rinds. Slight warming sensation. Very rude to my girlie lager loving taste buds, whew. Head goes craggy with foamy chunks, like the skum on a pond near a water entry. Overall, just another on style example of the million other IPA out there.

Yea from a can this is quite malty and its fairly acceptable as a refreshing brew. The scottish attitude is certainly there. Not bad overall and certainly a little easier than a real scotch brew. Heheheh

2 month old can A: Clear rich orange gold with 1/2 of bubbly beige foam. Fair retention time and stringy lace. S: Orange or grapefruit citrus, a little pine and honeysuckle. T: Quite bitter and pithy. Grapefruit, orange and lemon. Woody and caramel malt notes but sweetness is very low. Piney floral aftertaste. M: Medium body, crisp carbonation and lightly resinous finish. O: Kind of one dimensional with citrus bitterness but well balanced and pretty tasty.

3 month old can A: Poured clear but dull pale yellow with a short fast falling head. S: Sweet floral and honey scent with faint herbal hops. T: Briefly bitter and quite dry with herbal hops as in the nose. Malts are woody and lightly sweet. Simple but very clean flavors. M: Prickly carbonation, very light body and clean, dry finish make it really refreshing. O: Long overlooked but actually pretty solid and totally crushable.
