03/12 0.33 l bottle @El Estribo, Madrid. Only 30 IBU stated. It poured clear orange body with medium to smaller head. Nice orange hop aroma, obvious Cascade. Flavor was also lightly bitter, like a mild IPA, pleasantly hopped with nice orange and herbal flavors besides biscuit malts. Medium bodied with long, tasty bittersweet jaffa cakes finish. Quite nice pale ale, no wonder it has renowned status within Spanish beer houses.

Bottle. It pours a clear, dark amber body and a small, off-white head. It’s lighlty peachy and grapefruity on the nose, with a touch of chocolate and roasted malts. Some toffee. The flavor is roasted and chocolatey, with a certain fruityness and a nice bitterness. Medium body, quite dry, and with bitterness and some metallic notes in the end. A quite pleasant brown ale. 121110
