Since 2003, Queen City Brewing has been having fun making beer, talking about beer, and yes - most importantly - drinking beer!

As you might expect, If you brew over 15 years, you accumulate a lot of recipes! At our bar you can taste 30+ beers on tap while doing all sorts of fun things! listening to live music at Picks n’ Pints​ on Friday nights or at our weekly Open Mic Night, join a trivia game on thursday, catch a game on our big screen, or just hang out.

Orange peel nose. Clear copper, headless. Whole orange, apricot highlights, lemongrass finish. Good intensity, bitter and sweet. Drinks a little warmer than advertised.

No aroma. Clear amber, medium head, fair glass adherence. Sweet malt, mild fusel alcohol. Medium body, abundant carbonation, but not harsh.

No aroma. Clear yellow, thin head, good lacing. Seltzer with a nail polish finish. Subtle grassiness.

No aroma. Mahogany, no head. Wood and cherries flavor, with a maraschino finish. Light body. Not very exciting.

Raspberry nose. Clear amber, thin head. Flavor is all raspberry, maybe just enough malt to distinguish itself from being an alcopop. Very light body. More berry than beery, but relatively clean.

Corn pop cereal smell. Clear amber, headless. Flavor is Southern Comfort and diacetyl. Alcohol very noticeable. Interesting, profoundly flawed, but I liked it in a weird sort of way.

Butterscotch nose. Clear amber, headless. Coriander, butterscotch, more of tge latter. Light body, lemony finish. Tastes like a british bitter brewed with belgian yeast.

Little aroma, maybe corn. Clear golden, headless. Tastes of fingernail polish and paper. No body, alcohol noticeable. Very artificial and chemical-like.

Bottle shared by Dan at RBWG 2014, thanks! Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of horsefeed and a good amount of earthy grains. Flavor is similar with lots of earthy grains and hay as well as thin overall.

Bottle at RBWG Downtown Inn tasting. Pours gold with white head. Nose and taste of bread, apple and alcohol bile. Lighter medium body.
