Bottle 330ml.Clear dark brown black colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, light brown to beige head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, coffee, moderate hoppy, citrus, grapefruit. Flavour is light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Black color; beige creamy head. Aroma of roasted malt and fruity hops, some paper, cat pee. Good body strength, smooth mouthfeel, strong flavor of roasted malt, some coffee; there is a moderate residual sweetness, and some hidden hopping; all is very well blended together. Therefore the final is very pleasant. Very good.

Bottle @ Miss January / AA Meeting Afterparty Tasting, March 2012. Pours black with a creamy beige head and lacings. Nose is roasted and has lots of coffee/mocha as well as some grapefruit. Bitter and roasted flavor from both roast and hops. Smooth and slick. Really nice.

Aroma is hoppy with some exotic fruits, pine needles, resin and hints of gooseberry bush. Flavour is also hoppy with lots of resin and some exotic fruits. Some plastic feeling starts to occur towards the end of the glass. Dry and nice stuff.

[ As Fritz Ale Imperial IPA Doppelt Hopfengestopft ].ABV: 7.8% IBU: 108 Plato: 18° Unclear medium amber orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, fully to mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, caramel, light heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, orange - citrus, light hop butter. Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, caramel, nutty, hoppy. To much hops for me ! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120211]
