Got in a BIF with KMitch. 12 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy medium golden amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of huge lightly tart/tangy passion fruit, guava, orange juice, fruit skin, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, apricot, papaya, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, light peppercorn, pine, cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Huge juiciness on aromas. Fantastic aromas with awesome balance and complexity of fruit, citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, and moderate bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big lightly tart/tangy passion fruit, guava, orange juice, fruit skin, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, apricot, papaya, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, light peppercorn, pine, cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness; and light fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of passion fruit, guava, orange juice, fruit skin, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, apricot, papaya, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, light peppercorn, pine, cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruit, citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, and moderate bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness and tart/tangy fruit balance; with no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and tart/tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/sticky, fairly crisp/resinous/rindy, and lightly acidic/tangy balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.5%. Overall this is an incredible IPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of fruit, citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, and moderate bready malt flavors; extremely smooth, easy, and fairly crisp to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Awesome Citra/Chinook showcase. Extremely juicy hops/fruits with some dank/earthy notes; nice bready malt backbone, and minimal residual sweetness from crisp/resin dryness. A highly enjoyable offering. Loved it just as much as the base beer, but the aromas were the highlight this time with the fruit juiciness.

Mildly increasing warmth of 10% after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic DIPA. All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to sip on for the big ABV with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not aggressive. Outstanding Simcoe/Galaxy/C's profile. Extremely juicy, and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; nice sized bready malt backbone, but not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, very amazing style example. Loved the hop profile as expected.

Never thought they'd improve Basement, but damned if F*** Cancer isn't even more jam-packed with citrus and peach, with passion fruit and a mild earthy bitterness popping up on the fade. Malts add a touch of grain to pad out the middle, and the finish has just enough hop vitriol to give this can a leg up on its forebear. Medium-bodied texture is oily and crushable, while the nose offers up passion fruit and grapefruit with reckless abandon. Friggin' awesome pint (since we're censoring ourselves).
