Sampler flights at the brewery on draft. Dim golden color. An American take on a Belgian but not overly estry or overly sweet but definitely a little banana. A nice grainy bread flavor at the end to balance. Very drinkable, very doable for the style in the states. Hoping this gets even better with time and rebrews. Finishes just a bit bitter, low hop.

Sampler draft at the brewery. Orange blonde color, light lacing. More of a kettle sour or a Berliner. Has some moderate lactic tartness. A little graininess from malt husks. Citrus tart finish.

So, Independent are doing a number of different barleywines, each brewed with a unique yeast. Not sure if they are unique entires, they must just have to be aliased. This is for the Brett Brux variant. Cloudy amber color, small off white head. Aroma of dusty caramel. Taste is sweet peppery caramel. A bit more Brett character in this one.

So, Independent are doing a number of different barleywines, each brewed with a unique yeast. Not sure if they are unique entires, they must just have to be aliased. This is for the Brett Trois variant. Draft at the source. Hazy amber color, small light tan head. Aroma of dusty caramel. Taste is sweet caramel.

Draft at the source. Clear maroon color, beige head. Aroma of chocolate milk and cocoa powder. Taste is sweet brownies. Delicious.
