Draft at brewery. Gold with amber hue. Served too cold, needed to wait a while to pick up the Brett. Aroma has a fruity, lightly herbal Brett. Wouldn’t even call it an IPA. A little malt tea back there as well. Flavor is low bitter. Finish lightly dry but enough malt sugars to keep working. Otherwise, a light herbal touch, lightly sweet hops. My fav beer from these guys in a while.

Draft at brewery. Bastardization of the idea of a NE IPA. First make it with a Belgian yeast and then none of it is what is like that sub style. There is a fun newish melon fruit hop. Not very juice at all and a typical beer haze. Points deducted for bastardizing the idea. Big ass weed smell as it really warms up.

Draft at brewery. A kettle soured beer with a fruity twist. A generally fine take on the style. Hazy pale gold. A little unfermented malt flavor but all of it is hidden behind the fruit tart like beer.

Draft at brewery. Black beer off white head. Aroma is strong alcohol barrel essence in top of lightly sweet cereal and toast dark malts. Flavor is much lighter then anticipated. Lots of carbonation, light beer, mineral water feel. Barrel essence and alcohol felt at end of flavor. Lots of roast candy at end of flavor making for a fun aftertaste. The rest of the middle is just ok but end of flavor fun.

Sampler at brewery. I was bored by the Americanized dubbel base but I’d figure I’d try this adjunct version. So, the cookies do add a light nuance to the flavor that is lacking. But I get a lot of cinnamon and maybe ginger that I don’t like. The oils kill the head for sure. Whatevs.

Sampler at brewery. Clear dark brown color. This is an Americanized dubbel. It’s too clean, it’s got the Belgian sweetness, not strong, and no malt nuances. A mineral finish to the beer as well. Dullsville, USA.
