Sampler at brewery. I was bored by the Americanized dubbel base but I’d figure I’d try this adjunct version. So, the cookies do add a light nuance to the flavor that is lacking. But I get a lot of cinnamon and maybe ginger that I don’t like. The oils kill the head for sure. Whatevs.

Sampler at brewery. Clear dark brown color. This is an Americanized dubbel. It’s too clean, it’s got the Belgian sweetness, not strong, and no malt nuances. A mineral finish to the beer as well. Dullsville, USA.

Sampler at brewery. Appearance is orange gold and clear. Stick lacing. I like the hops. A mix if light citrus and light fruitiness. Low bitter beer. But the hops aren’t juicing and bursting with the fun aromas as I would love. A little minerally carbonation at the end of the flavor. The malt character is sort of just there and not well expressed. I’m wondering if my palate is searching for some gluten.

Sampler at brewery. Thick, NE style look to it, very pale but thiiicccckkkk. Looks like the end of a carboy transfer but glowing. Color is pale yellow. Thick lacing and sticky, a web of foam. Wheaty and lemony aroma, pretty refreshing. A faint banana bread. Otherwise, a light, spritzy feel to a lightly lemony, lightly hoppy wheat beer that has a spritzy, mineraly finish. It grew on me as I drank it.
