Our love of craft beer is huge, as is our love of Lake Anne and Reston, which ultimately lead us to this mission: To create a community-focused taproom, brewing small-batch, hand-crafted beer, and to serve it up lakeside on our amazing deck and patio overlooking beautiful Lake Anne.

Tap. Pours a bit of a murky arnold palmer, small off white head, good lacing. Aroma is a bit of merlin, hints of aspirin, smartees, oranges. Flavor is light plus sweet, minimal bitterness. Merlin body. Not bad; bit sickly.

Chimney House Smoked Hefeweizen from Lake Anne Brew House

Tap. Pours lightly hazy golden yellow, merlin white head, great lacing. Aroma is hardwood smoke, hints of banana and clove. Flavor is light plus sweet, minimally butter, light smoke. Light body. Apparently they have figured this one out in the last four years. Not great, but certainly not tragic.

Gumdrop, slightly stewed pear nose. Clear amber, medium head. Stewed pear, spice. Mildly grassy finish. Medium body, easy carbonation. Nicely done.

Gold pour. Thin foam. Even lace. Spice of pumpkin pie and a sweet hop nose. Sweet hop and pumpkin pie spice flavor with a nutty malt palate. Easy carbonated.

Draft at the Fairfax County Brewfest. Poured a very slightly hazy, light orange color with a tinge of red in there. Aroma was subtle, very light berry. Flavor popped a lot more - lots of raspberry, with some saison funk. Tasty.
