750 ml bottle. Pours a jet black color with a small beige head. A big sweet nose, massive sweet malts, vanilla and roast. The flavor is very sweet, sugary, brown malts, big licorice, this is very drinkable. I agree that no way this is 17%- more like 9 or 10. If it is 17% it is amazingly chill and somehow I drank a 750 without getting hammered. Very milky, big lactose milk sugars and somehow tastes a bit under-attenuated. Overall though, this is a great beer.

750 ml growler Adam got in a trade. Nice cloudy yellow color, this spotty head. Aroma has a huge level of fruit, tropical fruit, orange zest, pineapple and mild grass.
The flavor has a good amount of fruit and also has a grassy bitterness toward the finish. The grain is light and sweet with a soft / airy mouthfeel. The citrus is nice and bold with a nice level of grass and malt to balance. Wow, honestly not sure why Adam didn’t like this, this is above average.

Poured from growler thanks AdamChandler and Beerman. Hazy golden pour with a nice one finger head. Aromas of juicy orange citrus and hop. Taste is sweet with a lingering bitter finish.

750ml growler filled by Art. Filled Saturday, consumed Tuesday. Pours a very murky, nearly opaque pineapple gold with some sudsy white head. Nose has a ton of fruit, guava, pineapple, honey, tangerine, light soap, some herbs. Flavor is even better. There’s tropical fruit, orange juice, mild hand soap, some lavender, yeast, honeysuckle, light chive. If you poured this for someone and told them it was Tired Hands, or a new Hill Farmstead/Trillium IPA, they would rate this a 4.6. Very good beer. Alcohol level is perfect, super drinkable.

Bottle thanks to Dan. Pours a pitch black color with a medium light beige head. A really thick wax on the bottle. A nice mellow nose of brown sugar, vanilla, oak. Initially this was very sweet, vanilla, clear bourbon, woody. But it mellows a bit to a nice ash, lactose, some light dark fruit and caramel. Certainly fits into a nice place. Smooth, big barrel, vanilla and light cappuccino.

Growler shared thanks to the Burgh crew. Thanks Art and Dan. Pours a clear dark copper color with a large white head. A wonderful cascade of huge citrus fruity hops in the nose. The flavor is massive fruity blasts, oranges, more of a papaya tropical flavor than anything. Clean. Tastes like a much bigger beer. Light bitterness. Awesome.

Sampled on draft at D’s Dogz this beer poured a murky peach color with a medium sized fluffy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was bitter with perfume and an herbal presence. The flavor was tart, dryish, perfume, citrus, herbal, pez and cracker. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.

750 ml bottle thanks to Dan. Pours a very dark brown color with a small white head. A big spicy chocolate nose. Cinnamon, roast, vanilla, deep sweet coffee, milky. A huge sweet flavor. The lower ABV is a bit of a shocker. Tastes much bigger. Very damn nice. Impressed by the Brew Gentlemen. A thin palate.
