Sampled at the brewery this mead poured a yellow-gold color with a trace soapy off white head that left no lacing. The aroma was tannin, bubblegum and medicine. The flavor was tangy with tannin, bubblegum and medicine. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Meh.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this mead poured a medium gold color with a trace foamy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was strong cinnamon, sweet apple and a bit of tannin. The flavor was strong sweet apple pie and powdered cinnamon. Long finish. Full bodied and smooth. Pleasant.

Poured a bright yellow color with no head and no lacing. The aroma was sweet artificial sugar, watermelon, cucumber and almost berry. The flavor was astringent and dryish with watermelon, a hi t of cucumber, sugar and a bit of tannin. Very long finish. Full-bodied. Disappointing

Sampled on draft at Piper’s this mead poured a dark golden color with a small foamy that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy with notes of kiwi, strawberry and honey. The flavor was sweet with artificial strawberry and honey. Long finish. Medium body.

Sampled from a 750 ml clear bottle this mead poured a very dark golden color with no head and no lacing. The aroma was sweet with pear, and strong tannin. The flavor was tangy tannin, medicine and a bit of pear. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied. Meh.

Poured a very pale yellow with a trace white head that faded instantly and left no lacing. The aroma was faint hot pepper and fairly strong sweet mango. The flavor starts out with sweet mango then a wallop of hot pepper hits. The pepper grows and dominates. Very long hot pepper finish. Moderately full bodied. Interesting.

Poured a pink color with a trace white head that faded instantly and left no lacing. The aroma was sweet rose and a hint of vague fruits. The flavor was strong rose with a hint of vague berry. The rose really dominates. Long finish. Medium body. Ok.

This mead poured a hazy golden color with no head and no lacing. The aroma was sweet with a strong medicinal note and band aid. The flavor was sweet and almost smokey with apple, medicine and band aid. Long finish. Full body. Not good.
