Dark honey color with a huge foamy head. Sweet and toasty with faint notes of caramel and fruit. Long finish. Medium bodied and smooth.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a hazy nut brown color with an enormous fluffy tan-orange head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was strong bready crust and a roasty note. The flavor was roasty and woody with strong bread crust. Very long finish. Medium body.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark golden color with a large foamy white head that left great lacing. The aroma was grainy, yeasty and phenolic. The flavor was grainy, yeasty and phenolic. Turned dry on the finish. Medium body.

On tap at Hofbrauhaus. Hazy light brown with big off-white head. Aroma is chocolate, medium body, medium carbonation, and small-bubble lacing. Taste is chocolate, banana, and dark malt. Quit nice.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a honey amber color with a large foamy orange-white head that lingered forever and left great lacing. The aroma was sweet and malty with caramel and light floral and perfumey hops. The flavor was malty and sweetish with crisp fruity and floral hops. Long finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth. Tasty.

Light rust and some raw grain. Decent for style, and easy drinking enough, though a faint paint acrylic taste would push me away from ordering a stein of this. Amber pour with decent head. Light tangy finish. Watery consistency. Tap at brewpub.
