On tap at the brewpub. Pours pale yellow with small white head. Aroma is light crisp hops and light body. Taste is light malt and light crisp hops. Little flavor.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear golden with medium white head. Aroma is crisp hops, light body, medium carbonation, and thick big bubble lacing. Taste is light malt and crisp hops. Not that much flavor.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a vibrant dark golden-amber color with an enormous fluffy white head that lingered and left excellent lacing. The aroma was crisp and effervescent with perfumey and floral hops. The flavor was bitter with a sour mash presence followed by crisp perfumey hops and touches of pretzel dough and bread. Medium length bitter sour mash and perfume finish. Medium body. Ok.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark golden-amber color with a huge fluffy yellow-white head that lingered forever and left great lacing. The aroma was dryish, spicy, herbal and perfumey. The flavor was malty, dryish and a bit bready with a crisp spicy and perfumey hop presence. Long malty and perfumey hop finish. Medium body. Solid.

Had a big mug of this next to the German Pilsner. Pours a deep orange color with a large white head. A spicy hop nose. The flavor is a robust hoppy Pilsner with loads of Pils malt, big fruity and spicy Noble hops, very clean and good. Nice!

On tap at the Brewery after the wedding- first stop! Pours a cloudy bright yellow color with a large white head. A light nose of grain and spices. The flavor is a very mellow very clean Pils with Pils malt, some light spicy hops and yeast. Dough. Easygoing and good.

On tap at Hofbrauhaus Pittsburgh. Pour pale golden with big fluffy white head. Thin lacing, medium body, medium carbonation, and beautiful banana aroma. Taste is estery banana, tart wheat, some lemon, and a hint of clove. True to the style and good.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark golden-amber with a huge fluffy white head that lingered forever and left excellent lacing. The aroma was nutty, yeasty and had faint floral hops. The flavor was tangy and nutty with notes of toffee and bread and a faint vague fruity/floral hop presence. Medium length finish and medium body. Ok.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark red-brown color with an enormous foamy orange-white head that lingered and left some lacing. The aroma was spritzy fruity hops with a tangy malty undertone. The flavor was tangy sour caramel with notes of bread, faint fruity hops and a touch of perfume. The finish was long with tangy caramel and perfume. Medium body and fairly smooth. Ok.

A lighter colored weizenbock from what I am used to but a very enjoyable brew. +++ Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a murky orange-beige color with a huge foamy orange-white head that lingered forever and left incredible lacing. The aroma was strong sweet clove with moderate banana and bread. The flavor was sweet clove, bread and pepper with a mildly boozy undertone that was fairly well kept in check by the strong bready malty presence. The finish was long with bread, clove and pepper lingering. Thick and full bodied. Well done.
