On tap at the downtown taproom. Black pour with dark reddish brown edges. No head or bubbles Pretty standard dark roast aromas. A little chocolate in the flavors and just a touch of the peppery spice. Pretty well attenuated and a smooth finish. Not bad.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy copper with a small beige head. Aroma is very hot, with resinous hops, caramel malt and alcohol - very American barleywine-like. Flavour is harsh and messy, with caramel malt, lots of alcohol, and resinous hops. Messy, harsh and with many elements clashing. Needs refining.
