Straightforward, not as juicy as most NEIPAs but with a nice melon-stone fruit base accented by bubblegum and hints of citrus. Finish brings up caramel malt sweetness and a bitter-free fade. Not bad, but muted for the style. Pretty, though.

Good NEIPA, with a gorgeous hazy gold pour with an endless white head and massive layers of lace. Medium-bodied feel couples nicely with the fruit salad hops--mango, mandarin orange, grapefruit, melon, and berry all pop up at one point or another--while vanilla undertones and a gentle yeastiness bring up the rear. More bitterness would be nice, but still a tasty pint.

Pretty good NEIPA, bursting with citrus and melon, undercut by peach and berry with hints of earth. Drifts sweet on the back end--enough to make me think lactose might be used, but nothing on SPB's website or the can confirms this--with a vanilla note popping up in the orange juice fade. No bitterness whatsoever, which leaves the sweetness a little too strong on the palate in the fade. Drinkable, regardless.

120518. Mind the violent pour. Super Rocky road like melted ice cream notes but get more berry and vanilla notes than expected, maybe the marshmallow and almonds weirded it out. I still like it but weirdly Rocky road. Expect it. Taste it. Embrace it.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a hazy gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Great lacing the whole way down the glass. Huge fruit forward nose with durian, peach, guava aromas followed by lots of creamsicle notes. Smooth and creamy on the palate Sweet with more peach, guava and strong lychee flavors. Sweetness is there, but not overly so. Light piney bitterness that kicks in mid-palate and lingers.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a hazy orange gold with a finger of foam that lingers, then dissipates. Light passion fruit and caramel malt aromas. Some light dank as it warms, but aromas are kind of muted. Nice lacing the whole way down the glass. Light and slightly watery on the palate. Sweet crushed candy flavors with some pineapple and light booze notes. Quick finish with some lingering dank notes and mild hop burn.

Got in a BIF from KMitch. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 8/30/2018. Pours very hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with amazing retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of mandarin orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with good strength. A bit more muted than expected. Taste of huge mandarin orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Mild pine, zesty, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of mandarin orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.1%. Overall this is an incredible NEDIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Amazingly soft feel. Feels like mostly Mosaic/Galaxy. Insanely juicy and slightly dank/earthy hops; perfect wheat/oat/malt backbone, not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing/perfectly executed style example all the way through.
