Tea and pencil shavings nose, briney. Cloudy brown, medium tan head. Horehound with tea accents. Tea is especially noticeable in the end. Medium body, a little harsh. Not an IPA, and a strange take on an IDA. Too hoppy and strong to be an ABA.

Draft at the source. Hazy yellow color, large white head. Aroma of light lemon, subtle clove. taste is lightly spiced citrus. Plain.

Bottle as an extra, thanks! Pours opaque black with a medium brown creamy head that dissipates slowly with nice lacing. Aroma is solid roasty, coffee, chocolate, a bit of ashtray. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, somewhat acidic and odd, seems like coffee has gone stale here. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel.

Draft at the source, courtesy of staff and volunteers, thank you gentlemen! Deep maroon brown color, thick beige head, solid lacing. Aroma of burnt espresso, fine Sambucca, rich unsweetened cocoa. Taste is burnt toast, licorice, raisins, dates, burnt coffee. Delicious.
