This is the better of 2 beers I’ve had from them (other, Big Storm IPA). This is a good solid amber/brown ale. Orangey brown color, foamy head. Heavily caramelized nose, burnt sugars, def nutty. Flavor is semi-sweet with the same burnt sugar nuttiness, fluffy palate leading to a semi-dry finish, balanced, clean.

Draft pour pint at BB’s. Wasn’t expecting to get such a refreshing amber out of this, but it really was. Ruby pour with an active fizz head. Caramel malt and soft spice aroma. Cool flavor with a moderate rich caramel malt. Mild toasty finish. Cant complain wiyh this one. Well executed amber. Playing a game of not knowing the beers, and having them just bring me one. Good pick here.

At SAVOR 2016. Poured a hazy golden color with a fizzy head. ARoma was light floral and grassy notes, light citrus. Touch of grain. Crisp, floral character. Clean and a tasty pilsener.

Can: Wood and grass. Cloudy brown, medium tan head, good retention. Grass and tea, slightly vegetal. Medium body, easy carbonation. A little stale, a little too dark for the style, but flavorful.

A deep dark stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, nice chocolate malt with light coffee notes, and a faint woody character, dark fruits, nice. In mouth, a nice chocolate malt with powdery character, light bourbon barrel notes, light mineral notes, light chalky notes, nice. On tap at brewery.
