Tap at Next Door. Grainy, sort of light on the palate. Hazy super cloudy orange-tan. Creamy white head. A touch of salted coriander, but the body is too grainy, earthy to really work. Lemon-lime tinged. Would be interesting o see it unfiltered, the yeast gives it a creamy feel. Pretty true to style at the end of the day. Delicate cheese tones, grainy malt. OK, a little muted. Improving after subsequent visits...nice beer for Next Door to have on.

Tap at Next Door. Filtered amber-brown. Big, excessive head, off-white. A little awkward for the style. The aroma isn’t so pleasant. Brewhouse fruity tones. Pretty respectable otherwise, deep malt tones. Clean, enjoyable, decent, but another bland malty beer wasn’t really needed at Next Door. Not the kind of beer I’d pay bar price for.

Tap at Next Door. Murky unfiltered brown purple-pink...beige head. Boozy aroma. Caramel rum tones dominate, some berry tones underneath creep out. Sweet, mexican chocolate rum drink tones. Into dessert beer territory, very sweet. Has some depth to it, the rum merges with the malts well, though dominates a little. Rum cake horchata. Nice yeasty creaminess.

Tap at Next Door. Murky unfiltered orange-tan. Fresh and tasty, relatively straightforward hop tones, some citrus and orange..but none of the tropical tones so desired these days. Nice zestiness instead of stale caramel is a bonus. OK, pretty standard in a good way.

Tap at Next Door. Classic US IPA. Nice bold citrus tones. Drinkable, on the lighter side of full bodied. Toasty malt bill, some bready tones...rye, pumpernickel, though mild. A little thin and grainy at times. OK, but not that impressive.

Tap at Next Door. Unfiltered amber-brown body. Big foamy off-white head. Smooth and mellow, rich and yeasty. This is kind of awesome. I’m generally not a big fan of rye malt, but this really works. Mellow delicate malt and yeast notes. Smooth and sublime. It doesn’t have true Belgian effervescence, but everything else is there. Really well done Smooth and enjoyable, not overbearing.

Tap at ND. Deep brown-black body. Beige head, big. A pretty nice Black IPA. The wheat adds a pleasant fullness. Rich, but at times watery body. Classic oily tones. Big NW hops. Fresh, mild aroma. The body and carbonation are mellow, less than say a typical bottle. Classic, well done.

Tap at ND. Filtered copper orange ruby body. Big off-white head. Quite unique. Toasty, nutty malts, clean and light. Really has a UK feel, but the maltiness is stronger than I would have expected. A touch buttery..approaching nut brown. Relatively true to style, though most UK Milds I sampled were darker. Right on.

Tap at Next Door. Unfitlered orange-copper. Foamy off-white head. Massive hairspray soapy dry hoppy thing going on. Bitter, assertive, astringent. Resinous strong finish. Lots of flavor, nice and fresh. Subsequent visits I didn’t really enjoy this one as much...but numbers from the first rating.

Tap at Next Door. Filtered yellow-orange body. Nice soapy white head. The aroma is sweet, not harsh, but foreboding. A pretty solid Tripel/strong Golden Ale. The filtering keeps it really clean. Nice noble hop balance. Candy sugar sweetness. Great balance. Really great execution. Nails it.
